TCCSCA annual reporting start

TCCSCA annual report started on the 1st of April. According to Regulations of New and Existing Chemical Substances Registration-Article 24: For registered new and existing chemical substances, the registrant shall, starting from April 1st 2020, during the period from April 1st to September 30th of each year, submit a report on the manufactured or imported quantity in the previous year for the new chemical substance, or the existing chemical substance, in accordance with Appendix 8.

The report, pursuant to the previous paragraph, shall be submitted via the Internet transmission system designated by the central competent authority. However, a report in writing may be submitted with the consent of the central competent authority.

EPA Promulgate the Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances Labelling and SDS Regulation

On the 13th of January Taiwan’s EPA published the Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances Labelling and SDS Regulation. This revision is to implement Article 17(2) and 27(2) of Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substance Control Act (TCCSCA).

EPA published the Permit Registration and Approval Regulations for Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances

Based on the requirements in Article 8(5) etc. of TCCSCA, Taiwan EPA published the Permit Registration and Approval Regulations for Toxic and Concerned Chemical Substances. This regulation is the guidance document for the application for fulfilling the regulator requirement on Toxic Substances and Substance of Concern.
