ISO Management Systems

The Case For Integration

Whitepaper by Damon Waterworth at Yordas Group

Businesses are increasingly aware of the value created when they implement an ISO compliant management system. It demonstrates to stakeholders that risks are managed, processes are controlled, and that the company is committed to improving its performance in a particular domain – be it quality, the environment, or another stakeholder concern (which ultimately generates a competitive advantage). Unfortunately for some, the implementation of several ISO standards causes an unnecessary burden. Instead of providing the value, the system should be, it becomes a bureaucratic headache that no one wants to follow. An integrated management system (IMS) can unlock the true value of operating ISO compliant systems and help prevent these unintended consequences. In this whitepaper, we explore the benefits of integration and demonstrate how the common high-level structure can support you in achieving system efficiency.
