Volvo Black List, Grey List, and Red List updated

In March 2024, Volvo updated its Black List, Grey List, and Red List. The following substances were added to the Black List:

1. Ethylenediamine (EDA)

2. Terphenyl, hydrogenated

3. 2-(4-tert-butylbenzyl)-propionaldehyde

4. N,N-dimethylacetamine

53 substances were added to the Grey List.

The following substances were amended in the Grey List:

1. Methylisothiazolinone

2. 2-Octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (OIT)

3. 4,5-dichloro-2-octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (DCOIT)

The following substances were removed from the Grey List:

1. Ethylenediamine (EDA)

2. Terphenyl, hydrogenated

3. 2-(4-tert-butylbenzyl)-propionaldehyde

The following substances were added to the Red List:

1. Manganese

2. Niobium

3. Phosphorus

4. 2-(2H-Benzotriazol-2-yl)-4,6-ditertpentylphenol (UV-328)

The following substances were amended in the Red List:

1. Dechlorane Plus

2. PFHxS

3. Alkenes, polymd., chlorinated
