PACT updated with 25 new intentions for Assessment of regulatory needs

On 4 October 2023, ECHA’s Public Activities Coordination Tool (PACT) was updated with the following new intentions for Assessment of regulatory needs (ARN):

  1. Xylene

  3. Toluene

  4. Reaction mass of ethylbenzene and xylene

  5. Reaction mass of ethylbenzene and o-xylene and p-xylene and m-xylene

  6. Reaction mass of ethylbenzene and m-xylene and p-xylene

  7. Reaction Mass of Ethylbenzene and M-Xylene

  8. Reaction mass of 2-methylpentane and 3-methylpentane and benzene and cumene

  9. Propylbenzene

  10. Phenylacetylene

  11. p-Xylene

  12. Octadecylbenzene

  13. o-Xylene

  14. o-Diethylbenzene

  15. Mesitylene

  16. m-Xylene

  17. Ethylbenzene

  18. Dodecylbenzene

  19. Diethylbenzene

  20. Benzene, (tetrapropenyl) derivs.

  21. Benzene

  22. Aromatic hydrocarbons, C8

  23. 4-phenylbut-1-ene

  24. 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene

  25. (but-3-en-1-yl)benzene

This update brought the number of PACT ARN and Hazard assessment substances to 4089.
