On 12 January 2023, the US EPA Safer Chemicals Ingredients List was updated.

The following substances were added:

  1. Fatty acids, C6-12

  2. D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, C10-16-alkyl glycosides, 2-hydroxy-3-sulfopropyl ethers, sodium salts, polymers with 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol

  3. D-Glucuronic acid

  4. D-arabino-2-Hexulosonic acid

  5. Galactaric acid

  6. D-arabino-2-hexulosonic acid, calcium salt

  7. D-Glucaric acid

  8. Pentaric acid

  9. Propanoic acid, 2,3-dihydroxy-

The following substance was amended:

  1. Halogenated aliphatic acid
