The European Commission has introduced new hazard classes into the CLP Regulation through Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/707:

• endocrine disruption for human health and for the environment (ED HH, ED ENV);

• persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT), very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB);

• persistent, mobile and toxic (PMT), and very persistent and very mobile (vPvM) substances.

These changes represent a significant update to chemical hazard assessment and labelling obligations for manufacturers, importers, and downstream users.

Every substance must be reviewed against the new CLP criteria before 1st November (1st May, 2028 for mixtures), and REACH registration dossiers, safety data sheets (SDS), and labels must be updated accordingly.
