Turkey KKDİK: Regulatory Updates and Impact

In the context of a very low uptake of Lead Registrations in Turkey and slow process in data sharing discussions, the widely expected amendment to the KKDİK (Turkey REACH) regulation was published on 23 December 2023.

According to the updated regulation, the new registration deadlines are:

  • 31/12/2026 ≥1000 t/a, CMR (Cat. 1A and 1B) substances ≥ 1t/a, as well as substances that are Aquatic Acute 1 and Aquatic Chronic 1 for substances ≥100t/a

  • 31/12/2028 ≥ 100 t/a

  • 31/12/2030 ≥ 1 t/a

The amendment also updates timelines for substance evaluation and authorisation.

This webinar will summarise the amendments to KKDİK, and detail the impact on pre-registrations, registrations, SDS and other supply chain obligations. We will provide updates on actions taken by the Ministry to improve the process and finish with recommendations on complying with the new deadlines.
