Until recently, industry requirements relating to Poison Centres differed between member states but under Article 45 of the CLP Regulation, the requirements are set to change with aim of harmonisation

The Biocidal Products Committee adopted its first opinions to support applications for Union authorisation for two products. It also adopted opinions on six active substances for use in disinfectants

On 23rd December 2017, the KKDIK (Turkish REACH) 3 year pre-registration period will begin. Unlike EU REACH, this will not be followed by a phased tonnage and hazard-based registration period, but a single 3 year period in which all substances manufactured or imported in quantities above 1 tonne per annum will require registration.
