Ukraine REACH Pre-Registration Now Open: Official Template Released
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine (MEPNR) released the official pre-registration template for chemical substances under the Ukraine REACH Technical Regulation. This much-anticipated milestone marks a significant step forward in the practical rollout of Ukraine REACH, allowing companies to initiate the pre-registration process for substances intended for the Ukrainian market.
In accordance with the regulation’s transitional provisions, manufacturers, importers, and Only Representatives (ORs) are required to pre-register substances placed on the market in quantities of 1 tonne per year or more—unless exempt—in order to benefit from extended registration deadlines. The pre-registration period runs from January 26, 2025, to January 26, 2026.
