U.S. Environmental Protection Agency extends reporting period and provides updates to CDR 2020

Chemical Data Reporting Deadline Extended to the end of November

The US EPA recently provided updated guidance documents and hosted a webinar to assist industry members with understanding the requirements and changes to Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) 2020. The period for CDR2020 submissions has been extended from June 1st to November 30th 2020.

Submissions are to be made using the e-CDRweb portal found on the CDX website.

EPA Releases 2019 “Year in Review”

The document touches on the numerous activities undertaken by the US EPA in 2019 including the PFAS Action Plan; updates to the TSCA Inventory; designating 40 substances for prioritization as either “High” or “Low” priority; and updates on federal programs such as CERCLA.
