Yordas Group can now submit Poison Centre Notification, as per the new harmonised requirements, to the appointed bodies in EU Member States Denmark, Estonia and Germany.

Watch this space as more EU Member States get connected to ECHA's Submission Portal this summer and autumn. By the deadline in January 2021, EU countries should be set to accept notifications through ECHA’s submission portal.

According to Article 45 of the CLP Regulation, companies placing hazardous mixtures on the market are obliged to provide information about hazardous mixtures to relevant national bodies, which then make this information available to poison centres. Poison Centres give advice to the general public and medical professionals in the event of an emergency. Annex VIII to the CLP Regulation requires a harmonised format for Poison Centre Notifications, applicable from 1 January 2021.
