This three-day in-person training covers four key topics essential for chemical regulatory compliance. It begins with Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP), introducing Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and the Globally Harmonised System (GHS), including differences in international implementation. It then moves on to Poison Centre Notifications, explaining the requirements introduced under Annex VIII of CLP, including the need for importers and downstream users to submit detailed information on hazardous mixtures for emergency health response purposes. The course also explores Safety Data Sheets (SDS), focusing on the impact of REACH and CLP updates on their structure and content, and equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to produce compliant SDS. Finally, it provides an introduction to Exposure Scenarios, outlining how to manage risks to human health and the environment, when these scenarios should be applied, and how relevant information should be communicated throughout the supply chain.
