This two half day virtual training provides an overview of the different authorisation types and introduces the concept of a Biocidal Product Family and some detail on the restrictions placed on these applications. Finally we will discuss a high-level overview of the data requirements which need to be provided to accompany a Product Authorisation application including the best approach for data generation and gathering. We will also do a detailed review of the specific IT software tools that must be used when preparing a Biocidal Active Substance or Product Authorisation dossier. This will include an introduction to the history and functionality of IUCLID and R4BP, an example of how to create a biocidal product authorisation dossier and Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) in IUCLID, snapshots of the IUCLID interface and how to submit the dossier through R4BP.
