United States TSCA

A recent amendment to the TSCA law, known as the Frank. R. Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act, was enacted in June 2016. One of the key reforms under the LCSA amendment is the ‘Inventory Reset’. To comply companies must identify any chemicals that were manufactured, imported or processed during the ten years prior to enactment of the 2016 amendments to the EPA. Since then, the EPA have received over 80,000 notifications which they designated as ‘Active’ on the revised TSCA Inventory. The revised Inventory List was published in early 2019. If you wish to market a substance in the U.S. and it is not on the Inventory List, we can help you assess your options and pave the path for compliance.

Yordas Group is experienced in working with TSCA submissions and can help you meet these requirements.

Occupational Safety and Health Act

The Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of 1970 was enacted to assure safe and healthful working conditions for workers. OSHA sets and enforces protective workplace safety and health standards such as procedures for hazard communication (known as HazCom 2012, which incorporates GHS) standards for personal protective equipment and Occupational Exposure Limits (OELs), for example. Our expert team can advise you on Safety Data Sheets and a full range of classification labelling and packaging requirements so that you can manage your hazard communications in the U.S.
