Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada’s national hazard communication standard. In 2015, WHMIS was amended to incorporate the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals.
