Are you ready for Russia’s inventory notification deadline?
In 2017, the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) published a Technical Regulation called EAEU TR 041/2017 (commonly known as “Eurasia REACH”). This is due to come into force on 2 June 2021.
Russia, as one of the EAEU’s member states, has launched the online system Governmental Industry Information Exchange Platform (GISP), to allow notifications to its chemical substance inventory in preparation.
Nominating substances to the inventory now will be beneficial as it will avoid substances being considered “new” once Eurasia REACH comes into force. New substances must be registered before import/manufacture and the data requirements are greater than existing substances. This webinar summarises what you need to know about inventory notification, how this can be done and by who.
What the session will cover:
• Overview of EAEU TR 041/2017
• Scope and exemptions
• Information requirements
• Future obligations
Who should attend?
• Companies that manufacture, import or supply chemicals to Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan
• Those responsible for environmental compliance in manufacturing businesses.
• Those dealing with customer enquiries relating to regulatory compliance
