Yordas Group raises an amazing £600 for ‘Wear it Pink’

On the 19th October 2018, the Yordas team got involved in Breast Cancer Now’s, Wear it Pink campaign, raising £600 to help make life-saving research happen. The team joined in with the nation and donned their pink outfits while enjoying multiple fundraising events throughout the day including a bake sale, bracelet and keyring stall and a raffle, with a top prize of a ‘Taster menu for 2 at L’Enclume’, the Michelin Star restaurant in Cartmel, which was kindly donated by Jonathan Lutwyche, CEO at Yordas.

The raffle sales were kept open until Friday 2nd November, with the winning ticket being drawn on Monday 5th November. The lucky winner being announced as Kaying Tam, Marketing Executive at Yordas Group (pictured receiving her prize).

Breast Cancer Now’s ‘Wear it Pink’ day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK, taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Since its first event in 2002, it has raised over £31.5 million for life-saving research. Research that’s now working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.
