New Faces and a Fond Farewell at Yordas

Due to continued success and company growth, established scientific and regulatory consultancy Yordas Group has welcomed new additions across various departments within their organisation.

We are delighted to announce that Marianne Simpson has been promoted to Head of HR. Marianne joined the company in 2010 as Operations Manager and has been the key driver in the recent recruitment process. ‘We are thrilled with the expansion within the business, both in the UK and across our Canada and Germany subsidiaries, and following the addition of a number of new services and projects, it has been necessary to appoint a number of new employees to ensure the continued excellent service we provide to our customers.’

As well as the new appointments we have also seen a number of role changes within the business.

Ross Heubner, who joined the business as an Administration Apprentice, has recently moved over to the regulatory team and will be supporting our Only Representative contracts as Trainee Associate Consultant. We are please to announce that Alex Johnson will join the business on 4th March to replace Ross as our Facilities Administrative Assistant.

Anna Holden, who previously worked within the Yordas Hive team has take up a new role as Senior Business Analyst. Supported by Emily Kay, she maintains the group’s key commercial management systems, ensuring we continue to provide an excellent service to our customers. Following this change we are delighted to welcome Keel Heubner to the Hive team as an Account Manager, working alongside Phil Redshaw.

Alexandra Wilkinson, moves over to the Sustainability and Product Stewardship team to provide additional support on our bespoke databases and Yordas Hive onboarding services.

New Appointments

Fionnuala Schultz, who brings a wealth of experience in management accountancy, joined Yordas in November as Head of Finance and Accounting. She is responsible for the development, management and control of our accounting banking and financial across the group and has been fundamental in the openings of our legal entities in both Germany and Canada.

The Scientific department has expanded following the appointment of Anas Hussain and Daniel Worrall. Anas joins the team to support and facilitate the preparation of REACH registrations and BPA dossiers, providing clients with expert advice on toxicology. Daniel is on hand to provide client support with biocide efficacy assessments.

Nathan Town-Field and Chris Nugent join the Product Regulatory team as Associate Consultants. Chris will predominantly support the development of the Yordas Hive SDS Management system, while Nathan joins to meet the increasing demand for our CLP and SDS services.

Our Sustainability and Product Stewardship department welcomes Patrick Keogh as Associate Consultant. Patrick supports with the Yordas Hive dataset, as well as client data projects.

Jonathan Holding joins the IT to to assist with the development of data scraping and analysis tools, as part of our ever expanding requirements for data science here at Yordas.

On 11th March we will be welcoming Juwairiah Qadar to the HR department, who will provide additional support in a fast moving department.

Kath Carr retires after 10 years

This week we say goodbye to our Director of Science Kath Carr, who is leaving the business to begin her retirement. Kath, who has been with the business for ten years has been a valuable member of the scientific department.

Whilst we will certainly miss her, we wish her the very best for her retirement
