On 21st September, Taiwan’s Ministry of Labour (MOL) announced that manufacturers and importers of polymeric substances will need to provide the CAS number, hazard and risk data on their SDS from 1st January 2010. Applicants can apply for CBI claims to avoid the publication of the CAS number but this claim may not be granted if the polymers have high health hazards, or are carcinogenic or toxic to reproduction.
