Criteria for the determination of endocrine-disrupting properties in biocides published

On 17 November 2017, the European Commission published Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/2100 of 4 September 2017, which sets out scientific criteria for determining endocrine-disrupting properties in biocides.

The aim is to improve the free movement of biocidal products within the European Union while ensuring a high level of protection of human and animal health and the environment.‚Äč Scientific and technical guidance on the implementation of this Regulation is expected by mid-2018 according to the latest information from ECHA.
